The Hays Method Honest Review 2021
So this review is about the Hays Method. Almost all my reviews are about making money online, and in that niche because, in my opinion, its the best way to get free. So The Hays Method, I purchased this course so it’s an honest review from my perspective after purchasing it and going through it.
What is it?
The Hays Method is essentially a course that teaches you about Money Sites, that make money through affiliate marketing, and ad revenue and get traffic from Pinterest.
Who was it created by?
It was created by a guy named Brian Anderson and his kind of protege, Brandon Hays. So this guy Brian Anderson, he’s been around a while and is pretty well known, he does a ton of different online money making courses and programs so if you’ve been searching through them like I have you’ve probably heard of him. Brian Anderson kind of seeks out people who he thinks have something special to offer in that area. So he found this kid, literally a 16 year old kid named Brandon Hays, who went to high school with his daughter, I think, and this kid was making millions of dollars every year just from this money site, and Pinterest traffic.
What’s a Money Site?
So basically a money site is something we’ve all seen, you go online and you find a blog, and they’ve got ads on their blog and they’ve got affiliate links on their blog, and that’s usually how they make money with their blog, is from ads and affiliate links. The way that they actually make money from those links and ads though is by getting traffic to the site so that people will click on those links and click on those ads. That’s how you get paid. Then a lot of people, once they’ve built up a site with traffic going to it, they will sell the whole site for a large dollar amount. And then do it again.
What’s different about the Hays Method?
So the way that they’re getting people to these sites is what’s really different about this program, they’re teaching you how to use Pinterest as a traffic source, which not a lot of online money making online marketers, internet marketers, or businesses are using. Lots people think Pinterest is just like a thing for single moms at home to do when they’re bored, but it’s really an amazing underrated traffic source. Pins can go viral easily, and millions of people can see a picture that you posted on Pinterest, and in seconds, click on it and be at your website. So that’s how it’s really different. Plus It was created by a 16 year old who just found he could easily generate traffic to websites using Pinterest. So it sort of feels like, ok if he can do it, so can I. Whereas, some of the other courses I’ve taken, I feel a bit out of my league because I don’t have experience or because Im not very technical, this one I really felt like ok I got this.
What Else?
The other cool thing about it, I think is that, you know a lot of entrepreneurs feel like getting traffic is just a part of what you have to do and it can be stressful and tedious. But Pinterest is actually really fun, you can really find your own things that you’re interested in and pick your own niche and get to look through a lot of pins and actually have fun with it as you’re getting traffic.
How does it Work?
Okay, So how is the Hays Method course structured. When you sign up, you actually have two options you can either pick “The Method” and learn how to do it all yourself and build your own site, host your own domain, write your own articles, and create your own content. This might be a good option if you already are an expert at WordPress. OR option two is “The Accelerator”, where Brandon’s team creates not one, but TWO money sites all done for you. Basically they do all of the technical stuff, create and host your two websites and write all the articles for you for 30 days. And this part is a huge value. Especially a Time value, which is what getting free is all about. For 30 days they write one article per day for you on both of your websites. So 60 articles total. All done for you. As a bonus, they do that, completely free for the first 30 days, and then after that if you want them to continue writing articles for you on a daily basis, it’s $197 a month. Which in my opinion, is a little expensive, because you can find people in the Philippines and on freelancer.com to write articles for you for cheaper than that. But I think it’s definitely worth it for the first 30 days and maybe even the next 30 days so that you still have the time freedom to learn and become an expert at getting traffic while they do all the writing for you. To get them writing 60 free articles for you setting up your website your domain, all that stuff, it’s a huge value.
So you basically go through the courses which are a series of videos and learn how to monetize your site through affiliate marketing and ad revenue. And learn how to get traffic through pinterest. They even have their own ad network you can join, and they help you get access to other ad networks as well so that’s really cool. Because some ad networks won’t accept you until you have a large amount of traffic, but since you have access to The Hays Method ad network, you will always have a way to create revenue even when you’re just starting out.
Then they show you how to get the traffic to your site using Pinterest. So the first kind of few weeks you’re just really pinning and learning the algorithms and tricks of pinterest, you’re pinning things on your Pinterest boards and so it’s really fun you just kind of find things that you like, you pick a niche, create a board and you pin things to your Pinterest account.
Who is this for?
This is for people who already have a Pinterest account and enjoy Pinterest already. This is also for people who don’t have a Pinterest account and want to learn how to do Pinterest. It’s really an easy process and they walk you through it step by step. So you can do it either way. If you already have a Pinterest and you enjoy doing it, then you’re probably in a little bit better shape you’re ahead of the game. This is also for people with patience, people who aren’t just trying to make money super fast because it does take some time for you to actually start getting real ad revenue to your money site. It’s not just like the first couple of days you’re making money. It takes, you know, maybe a few months or so before you start seeing any real money. And then, even then it’s not that much until you really start getting viral pins and then that’s when you see the big money.
Who is it not for?
It’s not for people who want to just get rich quick. People who need lots of money right now. It’s not for people who have tried pinterest and hate it.
What’s Included?
So what’s included is two money sites hosted for you on WordPress, which is awesome, already a great value. Then 30 days of free articles written for you on both of your sites. So 60 articles written for you total. And you know they’re not huge and long and and amazing, but they’re good articles, and you can edit them if you want to add more or change things. You can also write your own articles as well so you have twice the amount of content. And then there’s around 20 different videos to walk you through how to monetize your site and how to get accepted to ad networks, and stuff like that. There’s also a private ad network that you automatically get access to. There’s weekly training calls with live Q and A. And there’s a facebook group as well.
FAQ’s
So here’s some frequently asked questions.
How does your website make money? We kind of already went through that, but you get traffic from Pinterest you monetize your site with ads affiliate marketing and Ecommerce. So if you have your own product you can put it on your website too.
Do you do get private access to their ad network? Yes, So you always have at least one ad network where you’re guaranteed to get accepted and make money through that because some ad networks don’t accept you unless you have a certain amount of traffic already.
What’s the accelerator bonus? They talk about the accelerator bonus in the course sign up page where you get the one month membership for free where they write your articles and set up your website for you.
Do you get live customer support? Yes, you get live support. Every week they do a training call so you can jump on the call, you can ask questions, you can listen to other people’s questions and they answer questions for you live right there for about an hour. They do that every week.
How long until my website starts making money? The way you make money is by getting traffic to your ads and affiliate links. 1-3 weeks is about how long it takes till you start getting traffic but I wouldn’t say high amounts of traffic after just three one to three weeks. That’s the answer they give in the initial video and that’s a little wrong. I would say, you start getting traffic after about one to three weeks but HIGH, money making amounts don’t come for at least a few months to a year, unless you’re really just doing it all day long every day or if you get a viral pin right away. So yes, you can start seeing money after 3 weeks, but it’s very small amounts. Substantial amounts of money varies, you wont see it until you have substantial amounts of traffic, and that’s different for everyone. It depends on how popular your pins are and how many ad networks you get accepted to, and how much effort you put into placing affiliate links on your site.
Pros and Cons
Cons- It takes a while to see real money. So, you know, after a few months you might be only getting $10 a day or something like that, so you can’t be in a rush, you don’t see instant fast money it takes a while, you have to build up your traffic and you have to work for a little while first, you have to be patient.
Pros- it’s easy, super easy. Anybody can do it, you have no experience you can do this, especially because they set it all up for you if you get the accelerator program, which is free for the first month so that’s awesome. Done For You articles for for 30 days and they do two sites for you so 60 articles done for you. And then learning Pinterest traffic is a huge pro because its really underrated, and it’s a really good way to get traffic. Pinterest doesnt have a ton of restrictions like facebook and instagram, and it’s a great way to learn how to get traffic for any business. The last HUGE pro for me, is that you can do this in your spare time. You don’t need several hours a day. You can pin things to your pinterest and get traffic in a matter of minutes. I was just doing this every day on my lunch hour and doing great. The rest is basically done for you.
What does it cost?
Okay, so the cost. $500 and then $197 per month. It’s really reasonable and a good value in my opinion. I mean there’s tons of courses out there that are 1000s of dollars. This one is $500 bucks. Then you get 30 free days of articles so 60 articles because you get 2 sites that they post articles on. Then after that 30 days if you want them to continue posting articles for you, and writing content for you it’s $197 per month. This is a great value for a side business that you can do in your free time.
Final Thoughts
My final thought is it’s affordable and a great value. In my opinion, the way that you should do it is you should get the accelerator bonus, get the free articles for 30 days, and then after that pay the $197 for one more month, so you get 60 more articles (120 in total that you didn’t have to write), and then you kind of get to keep learning about traffic and ad revenue while you’re still letting them do everything else for you for those first 2 months. And then after that, cancel your $197 a month subscription and pay somebody on Upwork or freelancer.com to write articles for you for cheaper.
